Memski Projects Inc. is a strategic partnership that provides exclusive access to the collective skills, labour and expertise of Mi’kmaq communities across Nova Scotia with real experience on major projects. Under the guidance of the Memski Executive Committee, Pure Project Relations Inc. focuses on building relationships between the communities’ workforce and proponents of major projects. In February 2016, Memski launched an enhanced database. Some of the changes include having the option for business to be placed in the database and as well as being more user-friendly for individuals. Currently on the Memski database there are over 250 skilled community members that are being connected to jobs in their field providing them with the opportunity to give back to their community while developing their skills.
